Jeez I love rugby played by two great teams.
SA has more upside IMO. The bomb squad and SA backline defence seriously awesome.
    Ref high praise.

@Billy-Tell there's going to be 8 or 9 days between the Uruguay game and the quarter. If we beat Italy roll the top team out again vs Uruguay.

Max for one half though. Don’t need a Dupont like injury while well ahead

Is that the best pool match of all time?

Off the top of my head I can’t think of a better one for quality of opponents

Helluva match by Ireland. They could’ve won by far more if their lineouts hadn’t been total gash.

Books would've won if they had a kicker and a spare hooker. At least you'll have one of those missing pieces for the rest of the tournament

Assuming we meet Ireland in the quarter, both sides have a monkey to shake: Ireland their quarter hoodoo and us with Ireland having the better of us the past handful of encounters

    NZ v SA '19

@akan004 may as we’ll go home now then, as SA will likely now be on the other side of the draw from NZ unless Scotland pull off a shock

Not out of the question. Ireland will be pretty fucked after that game.

The Kiwi Irish are stars in green.
    Why have we struggled?

Our coach is an absolute muppet.

Super Rugby no longer prepares players terribly well for Test match footy.

@BerniesCorner Coaching is clearly part of it. Ireland are an exceptionally well-drilled team, cohesive, disciplined, strategically smart and all on the same page. All the things the ABs aren’t, in other words.
