I know its only their dirt trackers but France are going to fold like hot laundry in the latter stages.
They haven't the stomach for it.
Big difference in the French squad between their first and second stringers it seems.

I am fucking tamping
Will post when I’ve calmed down

Finished France 27 Uruguay 12. Score line flattered France big time.
At least Mr. Foster can rest easy that his team is still one point better than Uruguay when it comes to playing the Frogs. That is oh so comforting to know.

Moment of the match is the Uruguay 9 climbing on top of a maul like a complete and utter sausage.
In his eyes it made all the difference. Funny to see at the time.
Well done Uruguay. Only five of us believed in you.

Awesome game Uruguay!
Red all done long. It’s not inconsistent reffing it’s ensuring WR get the result it wants - france in the final.

Love how we vmvmcan make France playing poorly against Uruguay Foster’s fault.

France had no cohesion on attack due to the changes. They also refused to play systems after the first 15 minutes or so, and got dumb at scrum time later in the game. That will be their worst performance at this RWC.
Sure, Uruguay were playing funny buggers at the scrum once their LHP figured out he needed to lower his arse a bit. I thought he was a bit hard done by when the French THP clearly overextended, but they figured it was easy enough to draw a few penalties because BOK is so random. I'd have faded a little on the hit as well
Someone mentioned 7s influence and yeah you could see that with Uruguay and Chile - a few very good jackals. Play to your strengths.
Ultimately Los Teros fluffed too many lineouts to get up, and probably let a prime opportunity slip there.

Only caught the last 10 this morning.
Worth catching the whole replay?
Good to sew BP denied. BOK doing the job for us.
Yes
yeah, it was a fun game
It's funny watching rugby when you have no skin in the game, you actually see a bit more.
French defense is really good. On the open side they rush 3 or 4, whil the rest of the line is a little back for the next phase. There is a seam there, if you are good enough to find it. On the blind they play an umbrella shape where the winger is furthest forward. Didn't seem to matter how big open or blind was, it was the same pattern.
-
oh, and they are so good at what in league is called "the wrestle". The up top defender has a 2nd effort to push the tackled player back, slowing the ruck, not allowing yards through the ruck, and making cleaning hard. Got to be strong to do it, and they are.
-
Uruguay were full value for 65mins. Just fantastic to watch. Also thought BOKeefe had a very solid game.

Shaun Edwards’ influence over this French side is enormous.

I think Shaun Edwards might have a very different take
Uruguay comfortably opened up the French midfield and outflanked them on first phase, multi phase, and broken play

Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start
If anyone thought that the re-recorded backing tracks for the anthems improved proceedings then they don’t have a musical bone in their bodies
Too fast
An absolute shambles
