RWC Week 1: Japan v Chile
-
This is great value this match. Like a local club fixture.
-
Rugby has totally lost the run of itself. With these cards.
-
-
Chile need to play more territory and speed things up.
-
Based on Curry that should have been a RC
The inconsistency is what’s killing us as the spectator not the initial decision
Shambles
-
Chile are great. Their hooker is top class

I'd have to look at it again but think curry was head first or at least simultaneous. This one was shoulder/chest first and whiplash head knock.
It's it safer?
Dunno mate. I'm not a doctor, as Eddie would say 😜

Chilean 9-10 combo is great

Chile do a good job of attacking the ball when tackling - always trying to force an error.
Must have a lot of 7s players. So quick on their feet over the ball

Chile now the only team never to have lost a pool match 😁

A few of these blokes play in MLR I guess.
Nope, with a few exceptions, they play for Selknam, the Chilean club in Super Rugby Americas.

Might be a few of them getting Euro or Japanese contracts after that display. Being together in Chile helps their cohesion, but their departure would make room for more to come through.

In future with some experience it’s fair to say that Chile might be a bit hot to handle for some countries.
