Interesting that all the matches in Auckland are TBC. I wonder if there's going to be some development at Eden Park

@Duluth
Blues have some serious financial woes ,so many targets not being hit around ticket attendance and merchandising along with several other KPI’s
Refer to the link -
@Steven-Harris time to cut super rugby.
😉

..and NPC
Replace both with a single coherent pro comp

@Steven-Harris the only mention of ticket sales I can see in that link is a comment about a 44% increase in membership last year, is there something I'm missing?
It does make sense though, I can't think of any domestic rugby team that would fill Eden Park week after week.

Refer to the linkIs this the same source when you said only 5,000 tickets were sold for Blues Crusaders and the crowd was 25k?

@KiwiMurph leading up to that particular game and I am talking 5 days out the ticket sales were poor it was only late surge that saw the ticket sales lift but the Blues are way short of where they need to be in terms of KPIs , the outlay to stage super rugby matches outweighs what’s coming back in ,the Eden Park trust won’t give them any more credit , that’s the crux of it hence none of the games have been locked in .
Probably something they won’t want to announce themselves
I am really surprised the Media have not locked onto this story , I have heard they have had financial problems from 3 or 4 people who deal with the franchise indirectly.
There’s no renovations ,FIFA World cups or NRL games scheduled for those times -
@Steven-Harris I don't blame the Blues then. I don't think their crowd numbers are that bad - they would have one of the highest average crowds in the comp (low bar but still).
