Tasman vs Otago
-
On to next week. Don't think we are overly far away. Really tough game for Hurley first up. Will be interesting to see how we bring in Faleafaga, Millar, Stodart and Co.
-
Otago fan in me is a bit down...just a bit blunt.. Ta$man always seemed to have numbers on attack and defense
Highlanders fan in me is a bit positive about next year
-
Felt as if some of our young lads didn't quite know how to put themselves into the game. Didn't see much of Whaanga much in the second half
-
@SouthernMann Think it was just the way the game flowed with Whaanga. He was just tidy... a centre not a winger. Hurley had a shocker though, he is just too small unfortunately.
-
His size certainly wasn't the reason he dropped several balls.
-
@SouthernMann Disagree, I think it is. Doesn't have the strength to hold onto the ball - which is sized-based. You just can't fight your size.
-
I reckon he is a similar size to Kolbe, who is one of the outstanding outside backs in footy at the moment.

Got a bit of Tyrion Lannister about him.
Pretty error-ridden performance - early-season NPC. Hopefully will get better. Starting with a win is always good and something to build on.
-
@SouthernMann Hurley is wayyyy smaller than Kolbe. Hurley looks like a midget next to Nareki, who himself is 1.74m.
-
inforweb says hurley is 5'9" which is pretty average for the average person...shows how big professional rugby players generally are
-
If he's 5'9 then so am I. That has him the same as Mckenzie, taller than Kolbe, Weber and Smith. I think that would be a very rough estimate.

5"7 at best with Hurley. I've seen him in the flesh.
