Cloudy and damp in London this morning but no heavy rain forecast. I think they will be able to get 80+ overs in today.

Australia the favourites after bland English bowling and excellent Australian batting yesterday.

I enjoyed watching this last night before things got underway.

A couple of legends and a good honest grafter. Some nice banter and reminiscing between the old teammates/foes.

The rain delay yesterday has meant Australia need to at least think about a run rate to win now.

Home and away averages of 58 vs 32 and 70 vs 38 respectively

You speak the truth my friend.

Target under 200 with seven wickets left.

Very doable but you get the sense if England get Smith really soon Australia are poked.

An away average of 38 is pretty good for anyone.

That sums up England's Ashes campaign. So close yet so far.
