Canada v Black Ferns (Pacific Four)

Halftime 21-14 to the Black Ferns , first 20 belonged to the Ferns but impressed with the Canadian pack to crawl their way back into the game after being down 21-0 ..
Ferns trying to be too flash as opposed to earning the right to go wide by doing the mahi up front first -

Bit close.

Grubber might have been the better option there
-
Good we are seeing a contest , suspect the Ferns may lay on a few more tries before games end
-
Few grass burns showing on the knees from the turf
-
Canadian 8 is a very good player
-
Not sure of her nameLucy Jenkins #19 for the Ferns has been busy since coming on (no sound here) -

@booboo played back in the 90s from what I recall , the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree , I was really impressed with De Goede ,her work rate and the ability to deal with the ball from a retreating scrum , there’s a few male players I have seen over the years that can’t control the ball at the back of a dominant scrum .lol
Chuck in goal kicking as well . -
