Would rather be in Australia's shoes, but the outcome of Day Five probably depends on whether Rahane and Kohli are still batting after the first hour.
Very much. That is the key. They’ll be hoping they can pull a Dravid/Laxman type partnership out of the bag. Getting Kohli early is vital for Australia’s chances and they know they can do it.
Jadeja in next and very capable too. He has a first class top score of 331 and average of 45. Wow, if he could do that at test level he’d be in the discussion for greatest all rounder ever.
Amazing stuff ( either that or padding his average in batting friendly roads in India )
….and he gets a two ball duck. I should talk up Indian players more often.
Top work Australia, well deserved.
Now onto the Ashes where you’ll very possibly have my support despite a kiwi coach and captain.
Here’s to an awesome series coming up.

To be fair it's weird it's always in England and they've never made a final
Neutral venue?

Home of cricket? They've only had two finals ever. So I guess there's room to move it at some point

I hope they do start taking it around the world like any other world cup. Playing in the subcontinent is part of cricket just as much as playing in England is.
I know ! Imagine the members from Lords slumming it at the University Oval with a Speights instead of a G & T. Brilliant !

Brilliant in what way, exactly?

Crowds aren't great for Test cricket. London is easily the best place to get a crowd for a neutral Test match
Maybe Australia would do ok too? The MCG would be way too big if Aussie didn't qualify though. Sydney probably the best Aussie option.
India would be a disaster if the home nation didn't qualify. What happens if Pakistan gets into the top two?

But shit.
Look at the tweet I posted above. What have they done to deserve hosting anything? Besides supplying a bunch of corrupt money to try and fuck the system

A bowling plan as old as time. Bowl at the stumps over and over, and then dish up a wide one and hope they chase it. And they did. Great bowling from the Aussies and some ordinary batting if we're honest.
Dominant win, and i think fitting winners, this Aussie team is bloody good.

@Donsteppa TBF the Indian team have to go home to their houses getting burned down...
“A three-match series would be nice ... you work hard for two years and then you have only one shot at it. You cannot get into that momentum that you need for Test cricket. In the next cycle ... a three-match series would be ideal,” Rohit said.
“June is not the only month we should play the final. It can be played any time of the year and anywhere in the world. Not just in England.”lol
Rohit’s comments were relayed to victorious Aussie skipper Pat Cummins and he quickly shut down his counterpart.
“It’s fine. No qualms,” Cummins said, to laughter from the press gallery.
“Ideally you’d have a 50-match series but the Olympics have come down to one race to win a gold medal. AFL, NRL seasons have finals. That’s sport,” Cummins said.
“To make it to the final you’ve got to win everywhere in the world. I think this cycle was 20 Test matches. I think we might have only lost three or four out of the 20. The boys were fantastic the whole way through. We adapted well and that’s what makes it so satisfying.”
