    Aus 469
    India 151/5

Aussies would've expected a bigger score than that considering where they were on at the end of day 1.

Game moving along relatively quickly and the weather forecast looks good

Some very shit decisions by the middle order even if India were bowling a bit tighter.

On offer was a total near 600 if Head stopped chasing the short ball, Smith didn't hang his bat to an average delivery, and Green used his feet.

The wickets of Pujara and Gill made me laugh - leaving balls in that channel against the bowler's angle was fraught with peril.

India might have valued Ashwin with the bat in their lower order too...

They're not finished yet. While we're looking good at 5 down for -318, it is only stumps day 2.

Let's say they go for under 300 and we rack up a couple hundy in the third innings: Pujara will bat for 2 days, the fluffybunny.

Their wicket keeper might have a word to the bowlers about the short stuff tho - all well and good if that is the plan to Head and Smith, but the issue with bowling short to Australia is they can bowl short to you as well. And better.

28 degrees in London today and off to the cricket with another kiwi mate. We've decided to support Australia to keep the trophy in our part of the world.

Despite @NTA trying to claim the underdog status I reckon India are fucked already personally

The Australian team is seriously classy.

Green's fielding at Gully is incredible. Such a huge wingspan combined with such a high level of skill and instinct.

Would rather be in Australia's shoes, but the outcome of Day Five probably depends on whether Rahane and Kohli are still batting after the first hour.

Very much. That is the key. They’ll be hoping they can pull a Dravid/Laxman type partnership out of the bag. Getting Kohli early is vital for Australia’s chances and they know they can do it.

Jadeja in next and very capable too. He has a first class top score of 331 and average of 45. Wow, if he could do that at test level he’d be in the discussion for greatest all rounder ever.

Amazing stuff ( either that or padding his average in batting friendly roads in India )

Two wickets in the over for Boland

His career bowling average briefly went above 15. Back down to 14.5 now
