At least Hayne can see the humour:

A friendly sledging exchange with Wallabies friend Quade Cooper escalated on Tuesday morning when Hayne challenged the failed Australian Sevens star to join him at a trial with the Western Sydney Wanderers A-League club.

Warriors showing grit and guts in an ugly game in the rain vs Manly, heading to golden point after defusing a golden opportunity to win they presented to the sea eagles right at the death

I can't think of a player I hate more in the NRL than DCE.

Such a wasted opportunity that game today. They showed a heap of heart in coming back from an early deficit against a Manly team who performed pretty well (were 22 from 22 in completion rates at one point), bu undid themselves with stupid mistakes. Solomone Kata pulling the Manly players leg and incurring the penalty close to the posts, Ayshford missing two relatively straight forward tackles to let in tries and Sam Lisione going for a drop goal being the first few that come to mind.

I hope that 2 points doesn't come back to bite us in the end

It is actually a genuine surprise when one is interviewed and doesn't say "Mate" every second word. I met Mark Gasnier once, really nice joker, no surprise he actually went and saw the world instead of staying in Sydney. I was also genuinely surprised that Sam Thaiday is a really well spoken dude, he was on one of those crappy celebrity cooking shows a year or so back.

Some of the rest are feral as fucken anything though.....

Sharks up 16-10 at half time against the Roosters.

Something just struck me, do the Sharks develop any of their own grubs, or do they always just buy the fullas from other clubs with grub potential and train them up to become grubs if the highest order?

Clubs starting to sniff around Tui Lolohea, and he might have his head turned, because our coach is a fucking idiot who doesn't play him.

Doyle says Lolohea isn't going anywhere. Tui will be playing in the halves with Johnson next season when Leuluai returns to Wigan.

Not saying McFadden shouldn't be playing him more though.

As I was in NZ this weekend I listened to a bit of Radiosport, FFS that station is basically the media arm of the Warriors. All day they had interviews that were basically just justifications for not playing Tui, from the coach to Doyle to former players.

Tui is on a 3 year contract but that doesn't really mean squat if your coach doesn't want to play you.

Big wingers to cart the ball up, always going to introduce in the last 20 minutes, but big wingers to cart the ball up, underpowered forward pack so need big wingers to cart the ball up, they couldn't find a spot for him, they brought him on eventually, he'll be playing 6 next year so fine to leave him on bench this year, other clubs leave players on the bench. Rinse. Repeat.

Fucking bullshit. The Warriors aren't rich enough in talent to leave a player of his ability watching games for long periods. Find a spot.

Totally agree. If he's Leuluai's replacement, have them play half each or something.

Agree he should be playing more but where would he fit in at the moment? Centre? Fullback and move Fusitua to the wing?

Lolohea and Fusitua can rotate the wing and fullback position. Both have good chemistry with Ayshford as well. Odd man out is The Beast. Put him in the forwards or trade him to Superleague.

The Farah saga continues at Wests. Jason Taylor wants to move the club on from the 2005 era so has relegated Farah to NSW Cup while retiring Dene Halatau plays at dummyhalf for the remainder of the season. Thinks Tedesco & co play better without Robbie. Expect Farah to get his way (again).

and he's copping heat for a perfectly reasonable, and probably accurate, selection.

That stupid bald fuck James Hooper reckons the Tigers faithful would rather Robbie play his 250th at Leichhardt oval, than win the game. James Hooper is very wrong.

Good move, Farah is not that good, and a cancer in a young side, get rid. Enjoy Super league Robbie.

The only down side is NSW might actually pick a competent hooker next year.

I thought there would have been some outrage on here over Gubb's seven week ban for what appeared an innocuous shoulder. Has he even been in trouble before?

the process over his ban seems a bit fucked really...3 weeks, but will load it 2 weeks cos of your history and load it 2 further weeks for questioning our decision.
