    Not that the likes of Hayden etc are much better I suppose

    Hayden gets asked specific questions but just answers with whatever bullshit just floated into his head

    Ponting is good

    Unfortunately the dodgy highlights package I watched has almost zero Ponting.

    India going in without Ashwin is madness. He injured?

    I'll admit I wasn't expecting him to outscore Smith by quite that much

    it's not just the score, it's how fast he scores that is putting Australia in good positions really quickly

    Really hoping for a draw here! Hopefully deck stays as flat as possible.

    @dogmeat if you're being serious, then in my eyes, they'd both be losers - so we remain the sole WTC winners.

    Shared trophies don't count (IMO!)

    India fell into the hole of picking their team based on winning the first hour, not for a potentially five day game.

    A lot of the social media chatter about the pitch looking almost as green as the outfield earlier this week reminded me of the mistaken hype around Basin Reserve greenness on Day -2.

    @MN5 welcome on board.

    I think rain is unlikely from what I read, so let's hope India go massive in their first dig at bat.

    Look, hassle us all you want, we’re still the first ever winners and will remain so.

    You could win it 20 times in a row and not take that away from us.

    Actually, is it too Iate to change my support ? Go India.

    @NTA meh. I'd feel the same way if we were the ones in the final. A draw/tie ain't a win.

    @foobaNZ I was being honest.

    Problem with your view is it wouldn't be shared (boom tish) by 90% of cricket followers. they and the record would say that there had been 3 winners of TC.

    I agree shared titles suck, so lets have a winner. Marginally prefer Oz simply as the reaction to another Indian loss would be entertaining and it'd be good to see a monkey clambering onto their shoulders.

    OZ definitely well ahead after Day 1

    @dogmeat I'm gonna have to disagree there, you really think 90% of cricket followers would view them as joint winners? I wouldn't think it's anywhere near that high. Every comment section for eternity would question it.
