Brumbies v Chiefs

Teams seem to get on pretty well. They all seem to be chatting amongst each other which is good to see after there used to be a bit of animosity between the NZ and Oz players for a while IIRC.
Was thinking same Nepia. Was talking about it with adult gradaughter last week when she noticed it on tv. She doesn't watch rugby at all,and was quite impressed.

significant drop in height?
I have no idea any more. I thought that was exactly what WR were trying to get out of the game- impacts to the head with force
The game is a laughing stock. The RWC will be decided on this garbage with the eyes of the world watching on.
Taa'vao gets red for accidental head clash where he comes out the worse off. Porter gets a yellow for an "absorbing" tackle....a term I had never heard uttered until that very day.
Then you see stuff like this.....they can fuck right off with decisions like that.
Either the head is sacrosanct or it isn't.
Danty got away with an identical one in the European Cup Final last week too.
This stuff fucking matters.

I see little difference in what happened there to the well known SBW Red.
Second tackler in with time to see the risk that the first tackler would be holding ball carrier in a position where the head was level with his shoulder.
What is a significant drop measured from? Standing upright?
As far as I saw BBBR didn’t drop after AA lined him up. -
So an outstanding defensive effort by the Chiefs (ignoring ENS's positioning for the final Brumbies try), and the Chiefs nullified the Brumbies lineout drive. Jacobson was superb.
The backs were a little clunky on attack so that needs to be improved.
How was Samu allowed to return to the field after being subbed? He was off the field for longer than 10 mins.

I noticed that all the Kiwi boys were chatting post-game, as some are/were provincial teammates.

I know he just scored, but the Chiefs look better with DMac at 10
With Gatland's injury, Ioane needed to play so I could understand why he started. He also hasn't played much recently. DMac will be at 10 in the playoffs.
