Billy Guyton - RIP

Very sad to read about the passing of Billy Guyton at only 33. Especially the indications of cause. Too many men, including rugby players find themselves feeling like this. Thoughts to his friends and family. https://i.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/300878829/former-blues-and-tasman-mako-halfback-billy-guyton-dies-aged-33

Condolences to his whanau.
I remember some very good performances for the Saders, Blues and Ta$man.
Warning: avoid Twitter on this news, there are some conspiracy theories going around which are not only sad, disgusting and very insensitive.

@ACT-Crusader Yeah, don't want them here obviously, or any speculation.

just go two words in and stop. It's a toxic mess (and has been for some time)

As I mentioned in the covid thread, I had a suicide in my family in 2020.
I feel for his friends and relatives. It always leaves those behind with more questions than answers.
The poor fella. He ran out of road and saw no other choice. They never do.
To quote REM in the song Leaving New York:
"its easier to leave than to be left behind".
RIP Billy.
