@Duluth Had to laugh when I saw our favourite lock in the Reds match day 23. He's barely club rugby level.

Telea beat 9 defenders. Unfortunately he had a few errors on top of that

The way TJ commentates you'd think the Force were ahead by 13. Such a muppet.

But today it seemed to be balanced out by KT’s over exuberance for all things Blues 😉

    Scrappy mofos the Farcicans.

Help by O’Keefe early on especially.

Blues were way more in control than the score.

Kraut and Zarn looked the goods.

Well that was was a horrible watch. Positves = Blues will be relieved to get the W and AB rest week out of the way with no other major injuries.
SP and Choat were Blues best by a mile. Sullivan with some nice touches. Telea had a mixed afternoon, lovely scything runs and then tits for hands. Eklund couldn't find let alone hit a barn door. The try from JRK was a goodie. Flush the dunny and move on. Roll on the Chiefs.

    "Carnival Sunday?"

It looked and sounded like there were a few hundred people max in Eden Park for this. French D2 Rugby or English National League 1 attract bigger crowds than that. How can it be Super Rugby if the crowd has the atmosphere of a morgue? What about holding games against the Force out in the smaller provinces? Can't the marketing department do better than this?

By contrast, Saracens Vs Harlequins pulled in more than 55,000 paying spectators to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday.

Probably more like 10,000. But a light crowd. I went to see Perofeta and Zarn; One better than the other, but Zarn continues to show silky skills at times. Needs to play.

Super as a product has been wrecked. How many games do people watch that aren't their team? The experience yesterday was dominated by pumping music into every break, so loud you could hardly talk about the rugby with your neighbour. Anyway, overall a good day out, despite the rugby - and that's the key issue. the product is terrible at the moment.

We need to start a thread and write letters to the editor about this.

It's the way to kill an atmosphere.

    Example:
Test match in Brissy year or so ago. Aus have good build up, put pressure on, force a lineout 5m out. Crowd starting to buzz. Bam! Music blares. Crowd excitement fizzles.

Not restricted to rugby. Was same at Broncos game I went to.

Tv does quite a good job of cancelling most of the music noise.
