Blues v Crusaders

Absolute shocker from the ref costs the Blues.
Crusaders laying around every ruck and/or hands over the ball, WTF.
That last call on the held up sums up the ref's performance, knee clearly on the ground but clueless ref gives it to the Saders. That's not earned, that's given.
Big fan of Beauden but that was arse from him all game, has gone backwards but then Mounga not much better.

Hahaha, clearly touched a nerve haven't I so you leap to defend the honour of your precious Cantabs and probably still butthurt over last week's loss.
Pffft, watch the closing stages again and this time try taking off the eye patch.

Like Christie not taping the quick penalty correctly but the ref played on and Clarke scored, which should've been disallowed or Heem taking Burke out in the air from a kick bringing him down to the ground even though Burke had the ball, no YC and no penalty.
Take your Eye patch of it went both ways,Just keep blaming the Ref for losing as it is all his fault as your boys were god like perfect.
I think it is your nerve that got hit you lost and spat the dummy at the Ref.Quite happy we beat you don't care about last week its all about the 4 points tonight.
Was it the Refs when you lost to the brumbies was it of course it was.

oh goody, eyepatch battles between Crusaders and Blues fans.
TSF is back to normal...
I'd just like to say it was good to see newer and younger players with some good performances. -

Well, I predicted the Crusaders forwards vs the Blues flash Harrys. It was kind of similar, the Crusader's efficiency vs the Blue's ability to strike from anywhere. Both teams had their moments both at efficiency and striking from deep. Could have gone either way.
For the Crusaders, Whitelock, S. Barrett, and Blackadder seem to be the backbone of the team and also the difference tonight. Moody was moody and back. LF very good.
For the Blues, I get the feeling if they had a dominant and mobile tight five, they would be pretty much unstoppable. Rampant loosies and some of the best strikers in the game. Long may they struggle in that department. -
After thinking on game, I really enjoyed it, loved that I didn't care who won and could just watch. Crusaders were pretty good as were Blues, and when it all comes down to it the 2 props getting injured early may well have cost the Blues the game, but that's how the cookie crumbles. Makes for interesting rematch.

I haven't read any of the comments yet, so this may have been discussed.
Doleman, as usual, was very inconsistent with his rulings and what should have been a YC. But Papalii showed a lack of leadership in the last 5 mins but not being in Doleman's ear as any good captain should have been, so that Christie was given a YC for such a cynical professional foul.

Haven't watched the full game, only the "mini" on Stan* on phone, between watching the cricket on the tele, (edit) and haven't read the tthread ...
But am I wrong in thinking there is some inconsistency in rulings of what is "maintaining" possession?
It seems last week maintaining possession meant remaining contact with the ball, but this week not.
Or did Iiss something in my cursory glance at the highlights?
-
- there's an opportunity for Stan to get an editor to create a genuine highlights package. 40-45 mins, rather than the 25 mins. There's room for more play to get a better picture of the game, and room for the scoring plays starting at the restart of play, not some random point in the middle.
