@Bovidae was gutted when I saw it was only gonna be 40 odd mins though, was hoping for a 60+ ep...was more drama in that ep rather than the out and out violence of last week.
Assuming there is a 2nd season, man I hope they can keep up the quality, cos right now, it is one of the better things on TV.

@taniwharugby HBO have already renewed for S2, and the creators have hinted that there will be more than one season to tell Part II.

Does Pedro Pascal have the best agent in the world ?
Can’t be too many people who’ve struck absolute gold with two amazing shows at the same time.
some would say his acting ability has something to do with them being such good shows

Don't know but on the Oscars Pedro either has a terrible tailor or wears lifts.
Not something a Mandalorian would be wearing, I would have thought.
Then again I didn't know that sometimes the Mandalorian is sometimes a stunt double in the suit OR John Wayne's grandson. -
@nostrildamus i thought id read it was actually mostly a double, he only did the voice and scenes where he has to take his helmet off

yeah I read it depended on his other jobs at the time but sometimes (more in series 2) it is actually him.

Murder in the pacific is fascinating. The first episode is a bit meh but the next 2 had me hooked. The rainbow warrior was genuinely a French govt sponsored terrorist act, which they failed to cover up.

I’ve got the final episode to go. Agree it’s v good. I was 15 at the time so there’s quite a bit of detail in this that is new to me (or I had just forgotten). Some of the interviews of police involved in the case don’t paint them in a v good light. Almost country hicks at times.

For those who watch the NRL, Stan has a short docuseries on the Dolphins. It was better than I thought it would be. I found the most interesting element to be Wayne Bennett unusual candidness and openess.

Just finished the second seasons of both Your Honour and The Mayor of Kingstown
How both of these haven't accrued more awards is beyond me
Superb

Being a pre-teen at the time, I remember bits and peices of it, but really didnt know alot of the detail, well worth the watch.
I sourced this via the raging river, which is shit is doesnt appear to be available in NZ at the moment.

Started A town called Malice last night.
That guy who usually plays other roles ( Dougray Scott, thanks Google ) is good fun as the weird crazy uncle although a bit depressing seeing one of the hustling gang from Lock Stock who isn’t Jason Statham looking extremely middle aged ! I thought he might have been wearing make up to look older, nope, that’s him now.
Good fun so far, will stick with it and see how it goes.
There is a ubiquitous 80s banger played every couple of minutes which might get a bit gratuitous, we’ll see.
