Every sympathy for Dyche. I guess expectations are low but nevertheless. Everton. Owner has to go. Board has to go and they're better off being relegated and starting again in the Championship - but not sure how that would impact the new stadium. If they do go down it's not certain they will bounce back up. Particularly under the current structure
100 players for Chelsea - 89 Mill quid seems a lot to be paying for a guy that couldn't get in the Shaktar first team until Fulham signed Manor Soloman. Chelsea are playing a risky game. They're getting around FFP by signing everyone on long term contracts so the amortised amount isn't that much. But (big BUT) that is mortgaging their future. If they don't make Champions League will it all come unstuck?
Clever signing of Jorginho. Cancelo seemed to be on the outer and Pep hasn't repeated his summer mistakes of strengthening a direct competitor for EPL. Forest seemed to be coming right after a slog to get the team right. Is that three teams they've signed this season? It seems like. Great way to solidify team unity. they look as though they're safe but if it was to go tits up they might be lucky if it's only another 30 years in the lower divisions. I'm old school but I find their approach abhorrent

I'm pretty bored of the Chelsea bullshit.
Really sick of playing stupid money for players, only for them to not turn out. I really think desire to play for a club is everything, and clearly a lot of these guys have little interest in it.
Another 100mm gone to another player over much hype. This could well be another Lukaku load of shit. It's just an approach of throwing money at players to try and build a squad. Meanwhile, one our best players of our last few years has gone to Arsenal and it's barely a murmur.
Lame crap, which reeks of an owner having too much say.

Chelsea are certainly paying overs for players without any obvious plan in place. That does suggest the owner and manager aren't on the same wavelength. How is Potter going to please all these players? And then they can only register 3 of the new signings for the CL. And still no striker.
From an Arsenal perspective, they obviously wanted Mudryk, and he wanted to go to Arsenal. But it all came down to money as Shakhtar wanted to maximise their fee, and Chelsea were only too happy to oblige. Benfica are laughing all the way to the bank as well (10x what they paid for Fernandez less than a year ago). Trossard and Jorginho should prove to be good signings to provide some depth. Experienced and EPL-ready. Arsenal's no.1 target in the summer is still Declan Rice.

Exactly. Chelsea are a complete joke.
Maybe I'm hanging on to something that just isn't there anymore. I watch teams like Brentford in absolute awe of what they've done, whilst Chelsea are basically just a laughing stock.

Chelsea's spend in this window was more than every team in la Liga, Serie a and the Bundesliga combined apparently.
Will be interesting to watch how Mudryk goes and whether Chelsea look like geniuses for hijacking the move or if arsenal dodged a bullet.

Personally I think the cherries have spent well this window, if we could have got Zaniolo it could have been a brilliant window. Now to put together some results

Was just reading about Matt Doherty. Spurs were planning to loan him to Atletico Madrid only to realise after negotiations had been finalised that they had reached the limit of international loans (I didn't know that was a thing either but then I don't work in the transfer department of a premier league club) so they ended up having to agree a mutual contract termination effectively giving him to Atletico on a free. What utter incompetence.

And Djed Spence is loaned out having hardly featured for a 20m fee - after tearing it up for Forest last season. Porro will have to deliver ....

Mudryk was basically offered 100K pounds per week for 9 years - if he flops, that is an expensive flop tied around your neck. However 100K per week is relatively minimum wage as Enzo is apparently on 315K per week - 140 million quid over the course of his contract. Craziness.

Joking aside that’s a staggering statistic when you factor in doing a Fulham became a byword for promoted clubs overspending

Watched the game and as much as Arsenal did not look great, Everton put in a performance that was better than anything they have put together this season. Probably should have been 3-0

Maybe not a choke but more City is the better team. Now if they slip to 3rd or 4th then that would be a choke.
Need a little more starch in the mildfield. One on those French midfielders would be optimal.
