@voodoo agree on the starting 5s which are basically a popularity contest plus some “informed” views from media/ex players. But the benches give a real indication of value and standing in my view given it’s the coaches that pick them.

    For sure 👍

Poor old Stevie is having his worst FT shooting season. Went 3/11 today and the Hack-a-Adams is now a problem. His rebounding is too good for him not to play proper minutes, but come the playoffs he will be benched if he can’t improve

at what point to we talk about how the Warriors have fallen off a cliff? Is it that the West is a shitfight, and people think they will be able to just pull the trigger come play-offs, because that's looking dicey. They're playing sub-500 ball, can't defend for toffee, and are now 9 games back. They are only two wins in front of the Lakers FFS.

I don't really believe in any teams out West this year.

Out east the Celtics v Bucks conference championship series will be epic.

GSW are 4-17 on the road

    That’s pretty disgusting

@voodoo the whole Poole/Green thing has really hurt this team. The cohesion hasn’t been there and that’s what gets exposed on the road.

Plus the rotations have been very different this season. Some pretty funky lineups that Kerr has gone with. Poole is not efficient and when he’s been the floor leader he has made some woeful decisions.

Green has been up and down. Wiggins and Steph injuries. Kaminga who looked good early in the season has been in and out of the lineup. They are a 7-10 team at best.

    East goes:

    Greek Freak
    Tatum
    Durant
    Irving
    Mitchell

    No Embiid!
Someone was going to get unlucky.

Sources: Nets star guard Irving asks to be traded

Sources: Nets star guard Irving asks to be traded

Kyrie Irving delivered his trade request to the Nets on Friday after both sides failed to reach an agreement on an extension, sources told ESPN.

Kyrie is at it again. Nets may end up losing him on a free at the end of the year unless they can find someone to do a sign and trade with

Such a great player. But as effective a team cancer as anyone I can remember. Kyrie might be the GOAT of team cancers

and so it's Dallas who are trying their hand at the "make Kyrie work" magic trick.

It could be the championship pieces. Or, he might fuck us completely.

Yep, absolutely - but when you have a generational guy like Luka, you have to take your shot. Dallas weren't winning with that roster, maybe now they have a shot in what really is a wide-open West. There isn't a team in that conference that would want to face Dallas in a series now.

Obvious weakness is D now (though how much worse can it get than it is already...), but offensively Irving is an amazing shooter for any kick-out, he'll create instant space inside for Luka to attack, and he can run the offense when Luka sits, which theoretically should reduce his minutes and usage for a longer playoff run.

Worth a swing for the fence IMO
