Yessss! It wasn't a great game, but the AB7s do the job and beat Ireland 10 to 5.
Sam Dickson our best player by far in this game.

The Cup SF against France is at 2.48pm.

@Bones Yep. That yellow was ridiculous.

Especially as Ireland weren't back 10 m when Collier took the quick tap. Some consistency please!

Too many Scots in the NZ coaching team. 😉

I have seen a different schedule that shows the 2.48pm semi-final to be between France and the USA. New Zealand play the Falkland Island Silver Medalists in the other semi-final at what looks to be 3.12pm. However one of them must be wrong!

EDIT: As you were, the other schedule I saw has changed after I questioned them about it. It now reads

    Cup Semi 1 France v NZ @ 2.48pm
    Cup Semi 2 Argentina v USA @ 3.12pm

Another upset: Aussie women not reaching the Final. The USA just beat them 10 to 7.

    Now: the BF7s v Ireland.

Great step and try Jorja Miller! Good start. Nathan-Wong left her kicking boots at home, this weekend.

Great team try! Jorja Miller scores again. Great pass Nathan-Wong, who now nails the conversion.

I don't get why opposition players go for the (grubber) kick if they have to follow it up with a foot race against Blyde. Blyde is always going to win that, unless the bounce of the ball favours the kicker.

    HT: NZ 12 - 0 Ireland

The USA should have sealed their SF in the last minute but made it tough for themselves. It took a ref mistake in the end, but they were deserved winners. The USA try with only 6 on the field was the difference in the end.

So far, so good for NZ.
