Ordinarily I’m one of the first to criticise the fuck you bloody crowd but when it’s a well respected and world class ex player I tend to pay attention.
Sehwag makes an excellent point here
Although I agree with him the ability of Indian cricket to always somehow make themselves the victim is quite impressive.
The South African rugby fans of cricket
Pretty apt description.
Warners performance will be interesting for sure. A shitload of pressure on the man but as I think I asked earlier, are there loads of alternatives to him if he fails again ?
There's no shortage of fuckwits who can fail with the bat.
Who needs @Virgil with posts like this !!!!!!

At a friend's place and not watching. I've also had a few at this point as a PSA.
Anyone still want to blame the pitch for South Africa being shit at batting?
Na I blame them for being shit at batting for being shit at batting.
They had the golden period of Smith, Kallis, Amla and De Villiers. Time to join the rest of the cricketing mortals.

Some soft wickets after almost getting through the first hour. Where is the traditional stubborn Saffa batsman?
Retired.

Conway would come in handy. Are there any others running around world cricket they let go? England are often good for one or two but can't think of any at the moment. Marnus might have been born in SA but he doesn't count.

Pietersen, Strauss and Trott went pretty good. In fact if you made up a team of Saffas who played for other teams it would be pretty impressive.
Andrew Strauss ENG
Kepler Wessells AUS
Marnus Labuschagne AUS
Devon Conway NZ
Kevin Pietersen ENG
Robin Smith ENG
Tony Grieg ENG
BJ Watling NZ
Grant Elliot NZ
Michael Neser AUS
Neil Wagner NZWell ok, whilst I had to leave out some pretty good batsmen it’s fucken hard work trying to find decent SA bowlers ( sorry you’re batting so low hairy javelin )……Wags stands out like dogs balls and will need to really step up.

Didn't realise Neser was a saffa. Yeah, funny how they have lost classy bats over the years but not so many bowlers.
Edit: Not sure Neser counts - went to Aussie aged 10, like Marnus.

I was struggling and had to google to make up the bowlers…..Grieg and Elliot get in as all rounders but yeah, whilst the batting line up is exceptionally strong the bowlers as a unit are a bit wanting…..( pretty much the opposite of the SA team playing now )
Assuming Labuschagne doesn’t count then you’d probably chuck Trott or Lamb in there ( although his record is pretty bog standard to be honest ).
I’m fucked if I can think of another bowler to replace Neser. I was struggling enough as it was ! All their decent ones stayed at home by the looks.

Back to the game.. at least this partnership is pushing back a little. 60 runs so far
Jansen has a bit of all round talent apparently. Time for him to show it.
( always comforting writing stuff like this when you don’t have any skin in the game )
