Saffers for 3 Tests after this.
Gabba: 17 Dec
MCG: 26 Dec
SCG: 4 Jan - might get along to some of this as I have the time off. Will be blobbing on the couch watching this as I always try to. Day one at the very least. I hope it’s raining in NZ.
It's a great day for a road trip, too. Nothing better than listening to ABC Radio as you're hurtling across the landscape.

I’m supposed to be taking off to Hawkes Bay on the 26th but fuck all that Boxing Day traffic. I’ll wait to the 28th.

Pink ball test in RAdelaide.
Australia win toss and bat. Warner misses out chasing hard. Khawaja gets past 1000 runs for the year. Deck looks good to bat on, and the weather is choice so tonight's session will be interesting.
The big news tho: Cummins and Hazlewood out. Boland and Neser in. Bit more pressure on Starc to perform as the leader.
Smith is captain.
Windies hand out another debut.

That Australian top order is nothing short of fucken incredible. Best ever all at one time maybe ?
Actually Hayden, Langer, Ponting, Clarke, Hussey > Warner, Khawaja, Smith, Labuschagne, Head………

Trash
Everyone but Warner filled their boots.
You can sort of see why England, Aus and India only want to play themselves.

How embarrassing.
The Windies have produced gods of the great sport in the past, some of my absolute favourite players, but shit they must be flabbergasted at how bad this current lot are.
I blame America
Possibly accurate.
A team of journeymen with the odd star isn’t going to come close to a team of stars.

Money talks and they have fuck all.

Their improvement is remarkable although you still get the feeling they’d get hammered in an Ashes series in Australia.

Australia's seam bowling depth is frankly ridiculous.
Their top 3 is pretty much without peer
Boland has played 4 tests, has 21 wickets at 10
The next 3 guys in line average less than 26 in first class cricket
And then they have a genuinely quick guy they are trying to develop (not that any of the above are slow. or short.) -
