Ironically, Brook was batting poorly, and was doing England more harm than good. Afridi caught the ball but probably cost Pakistan their chance at the cup

The proper tournament length was about right - Black Caps first game was just over 3 weeks ago.

Just have the qualification tournament earlier/separate.

I found that utterly weird: "Here's another mini tournament before we throw you in against the big boys. Enjoy that"

Good warmup games I guess but it basically went under the radar for me.
