Fatbusting: Voltman's log

Depends what you've been eating Paj <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /><br />
<br />
Volts - good work on to move to Zero. A journey of a thousand miles starts with but one small step <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> -
Hmmmm, it's been two years. I was weighed when I went in for back surgery last week, and I was slightly surprised to see the scales stop at 84kg. I haven't really done anything, yet the weight has dropped by 3-4kg. That said, once I'm fully recovered from surgery and hopefully moving (again), I'm keen to try and avoid sitting around home so often and having to resort to back surgery to sort out pain has encouraged me to get out and about - once I can, of course.<br />
<br />
So, stay tuned. Eating pretty well anyway, having a salmon fillet, rice and steamed veges tonight - I'm a bit over the whole fatty food thing for dinner. -

Take three anyone? Been without Coke for 7 weeks, and have started to assemble my simple life. Walks starting tonight (which will turn to runs once I get shoes that can support my crappy shins), swimming once the outdoor pool opens, and my eating habits have already been a lot better. Small steps - not wanting to turn into an Adonis/Bartman.

[quote name='BartMan']coke zero or diet coke Volty, are both fine if you are an addict - or no sugar anyway!!<br />

<br />
Cold turkey - the approach that is, not the food - has worked for me so far, which I'm happy with. A lot less tired anyway. -
Yeah, me too!<br />
<br />
I used to be a Demon 'energy' drink fiend before me and the mrs got into the BB stuff. I was rowing heaps though, but the weight was sneaking back on - havinmg a couple of those a day, and a cookie time anzac biscuit at morning smoko does not help - a minute on the lips, a year on the hips!<br />
<br />
Good on you the cold turkey thing - I LOOVE Coke Zero... <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
