Euros 2016

Although we went unbeaten against Belgium in the qualifying group (1 win, 1 draw, no goals conceded) it's going to be a tough ask for us to turn them over on Friday.

They're peaking nicely and building a good momentum.

I'll still be in the Cardiff Fan Zone shouting my head off though :)

I see a Portugal v Belgium semi-final on the top side of the draw.

Germany did what they always do in tournament football, coast through to the business end.

If the teams in the bottom side of the draw stay injury and yellow card free (not sure when they get wiped out) then the winner will come from one of Germany, Italy, France or Spain IMHO.
-

Oh and Hooroo is now 4-2 :)

-

Masterclass from Italy. IMO the 2 best teams are Italy and Germany, it's a real pity they meet in the 1/4 finals.

Belgium will choke, they always do. France have defensive issues.

Wales, Portugal, Poland making up the numbers.

And we see, but I fancy Iceland in 30 minutes to give England a hurry-up.
-

Iceland - get in there!!! 1-1

-
Lol. Joe hart is no Buffon. 2-1 Iceland!

Fixed it.

England football team, never been any different.

All. My . Fucking. Life.

I thought that England had plumbed the depths when we failed to qualify for 74 world cup, but it seems they will always find a new way to screw up, year after year after year.

That said, (1) fair play to Iceland and (2) it ain't over yet. -
Rooney has been utterly terrible in the 2nd 40.

2nd 45 LOL... -

I think you’re mistaken, there Clive. I think if Iceland can hang on the rest of Europe watching on will remember this game for a very long time.

But to be fair, I suppose, England are on the tough side of the draw.

85 min: The camera cuts to Roy Hodgson on the England bench. He’s deep in conversation with his No2 Ray Lewington, but looks completely frazzle, bearing the countenance of a man who has no idea what to do next.

It's becoming a national leadership trait...
-
