2021 Rugby League World Cup to be delayed until 2022. It will probably now clash with the Football World Cup in Qatar.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/57630566

That'll make big difference to interest in both tournaments.

    Wait. No it won't.

    No Hynes named for Australia.

@Nepia I don’t think Kris is a true bolter just on the form that he and Timoko had for Canberra. CNK could be considered more of a bolter just on lack of first grade games! Likely one of Kris or CNK partner Hiku in the centres. Manu won’t be considered for anything other than fullback I suspect as he is that good

It’s a good squad, hopefully we stay injury free.

Kris is a bolter more on the fact he's actually a NZer than anything else (and chose to play for us).

Their top side won't be as good next year without kikau and apisau, but I don't bet against them unearthing good replacements.

And because they are local boys, and lots are family oriented poly boys, it's very hard to buy them away.

And they aren’t small families either, so there’s usually a younger bro or cousin coming through the ranks.

The system seems pretty solid but don’t underestimate the Sydney league media trying to find ways to get at them and unearth some controversy.

Good but even with the Island sides watering everything down probably not good enough to win the final.

So Oregon Kaufusi has been named in the Tongan and Samoan teams. He's also eligible for NZ too (and presumably Oz).

Maybe he did a Taumalolo and then forgot to tell the team he said he'd originally play for that he was defecting?
