Yeah but was always gonna happen. We still have our one world class player in KW but the support cast of good to very good players is dwindling and being replaced by journeymen.

Right now the one who looks world class is Trent Boult
He’s playing bloody well yes, but he’s still what I’d call Ross Taylor class. Very good, would probably walk into any international squad but maybe a bit short of being one of the absolute elite of his era.

I certainly can’t argue that, I do have a habit of judging guys on their overall records to be fair.
Four wickets in an ODI twice in a row is exceptional. 16 in his last five ODIs ! ( thanks cricinfo )
