let the calculations comence

@Kiwiwomble Do you mean to tell me that The Baabaas Invitational Chequebook XV have been scheduled for a challenge two years in a row? What's @Chris-B going to whine about now?
TBH, if we have to lose it this year then I'd want to lose it this weekend. I'd rather Harbour take it than Southland, Wellington or the Baabaas.

more should be made of this each week, teams "knocked out" of the running to end up with it at the end of the season, some teams have several ways to end up with it, looks like Otago only has one but we need two other teams (counties and manawatu) to win it first
-
@Kiwiwomble thanks for posting that.
So I need to be cheering for Harbour this week.

exactly, so will i but then cheering for counties next week
edit: who is your NPC team @Crucial ?
-
@Kiwiwomble so there is zero chance we get a shot, think we are the only ones not on that as a possibility?

there is a chance the other way too but yeah, that looks like the fastest

@Stargazer this is another thing we could make a bigger deal, like the coleman, brownlow and norm smith medals in the AFL
-
quick math....Otago still only have one AB?...bugger
-
Given the ABs are content on letting the provinces have a moment in the sunshine by naming ABs in their teams, we won't know exactly who is playing NPC until the teams are named. With teams not required to be named until 24 hours out from kickoff, we'll have to wait until Saturday for some. But we can speculate around the eight players. Leicester Fainga'anuku and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck are confirmed, while it's clear Sevu Reece won't play for Ta$man on Friday night. Others who should get a run are Braydon Ennor (Canterbury), loose forward Hoskins Sotutu (Counties), Otago lock Josh Dickson, Taranaki pivot Stephen Perofeta, and Auckland prop Angus Ta’avao.
