Not good. Didn’t see that. Have been flicking between 4 games

The Poo looks to have that game safe for their first win of the season.
That Welly squad looked strong on paper at the start of the season but just aren’t gelling.
If BOP beat CM tomorrow there will be a three way relegation battle I think.

Close game but pretty sure the Cantabs will close out. Waikato lineout problems are really making it hard for them this season.

Well Waikato have the lead back.
Anderson copped some friendly fire with a team mate falling on her leg at the back of a ruck. Didn’t look good. Might be her season gone. Pity.

Exciting game but team without yellow on their jerseys takes it out at the end.

Great article about former Black Fern and current Hawke's Bay halfback Emma Jensen.

Early kick off for the Volcanix and out to an early lead with a try in the corner. Look to be adjusting to not having Connor though.

Close game in Tauranga 5-3 to BOP so far. Connor on now which may help for the Volcanix
Seems that some BF players are under time restrictions as Tubic only got half a game as well

Couple of quick tries to CM and a deserved lead. BOP haven’t coped well with the changes they made. Previous games had 60 minutes of the top pack playing and things not quite as well gelled this week.

The size of this CM reserve FR is something to behold. It’s like if Ursula Carson was a triplet.

….and there’s the most revolting thing I’ll read on the fern all year done and dusted.

Good win coming for CM. BOP chasing a 6 point deficit and chances their arm a bit much to hand another try over.

Yep, that wasn't the best choice at the back there, and punished accordingly.

Disappointing result especially after starting so well. Tried lots in our own half which is how we play but we didn't dominate through the middle first like we have in other games this season. Tahere missed restarts were crucial for losing territory but hope the ladies get around her.

Big implications on the semi spots this week.
BOP didn't grab an opportunity last week to put themselves in the box seat so pretty much have to beat Wellington this round to be back in contention.
Manawatu are likely wooden spooners given that they have a game against Canterbury and a bye to come.
Wellington probably only need a couple of points from their games against BOP and Auckland to be off the bottom rung but a win against BOP could put them in contention.
CM have the bye this week then Waikato to finish the RR.
Waikato play a (probably more) weakened Auckland

Any of CM, BOP or Wellington could take the last spot and the absence of Black Ferns really throws a cat among the pigeons as far as Auckland go. Other teams obviously impacted as well.

I'm thinking a final table something like

    Canterbury 28
    Waikato 22
    Auckland 17
    BOP 14
    CM 11
    Wellington 8
    Manawatu 7

If Wellington beat BOP this weekend though BOP, CM and Wellington are in a bonus point or wins against each other shit fight and Wellington have a good chance on a run from the back.

So, will they split the points? Hawke's Bay would probably have beaten Ta$man if this game had been played.

I don't think it will really affect the Championship table, as Northland is very likely to beat Taranaki and Otago will no doubt beat North Harbour. Hawke's Bay should stay second and Ta$man should stay 4th.

@Stargazer Ta$man is a joint effort between the combined Marlborough and Nelson Bays outfits so the simple answer is to transfer the game to Blenheim.

@Higgins Last Sunday, there were huge travel disruptions to Blenheim. That's why the games of both the Ta$man men's and women's team were delayed. I doubt they want a repeat of that.
