I do love his articles, I wish that he would poke his ozzie nose more into the ABs!

Good read that. I wish I had more time these days to read stuff like this regularly, and to have watched enough rugby to form my own opinion on whether it's arse or not.
But this seems fairly solid from my apartment here in the Greek Islands.
Did I mention I'm on holidays???

@Machpants I'm on the Board of an affiliate union here in Sydney. While I don't get stuff exactly from the horse's mouth, Rugby Australia is exactly what you'd expect of a sports body that is run as a corporation; there are some things come down the pipe that make you wonder whether they understand "rugby" at all...
rugby vic is the same...several of the clubs asked if we could start our games an hour earlier so that we could pack up and get back to the club rooms to watch the AB's game, just said NO...all games had to be played at the normal time so the 1's didn;t get back to the club rooms till 545ish

Mate it sounds like the Wellington rugby union back in the 70s, a test was live on tv (wasn't allowed to be advertised in those days but everyone knew), when a couple of clubs suggested changing time the Wellington rugby union replied with are they players or tv watchers and wouldn't move them. I thought those days were gone.

Was/is their a Ben Kimber involved with the Green and Gold rugby site and if so, is it the same person that is now the CEO of Stan Sport?
He was not involved, no.
Cheers, for some reason I had that name in my head.

@Machpants Damn, we wouldn't have been wondering who to play 12 if that plane hadn't of stopped in Oz.
Foster wouldn't have picked him

I have to agree. The reputational damage and embarrassment should be enough.
lol yes. A viral video of the guy applying the handbrake and backing right the fuck off like a total bitch. Face full on camera too.
Shame!!

i mean...he is a traitor...he's literally gone away and then lead another team to victories over his home nation...which he's allowed to do of course....but thats the label
