Now Tim Horan having a whinge. Very rare for Timmy.

Smith may take a lot of criticism but it’s very clear how much better they are with him on the pitch.
Huge difference.
It usually does make a difference when you go from 14 to 15 players on the field 😀
I reckon he’s been okay
Yeah, he's clearly not a terrible player, even if the hype makes you want him to be. Hard to judge from a couple of games where he's playing with Farrell outside
-
Are you able to jump from outside the field of play and knock it back like that? It makes more sense to me that the player should be in the field of play when they jump
-
Lawes brilliant.

If you are outside the field of play you have to catch it,.

That does make sense, and I think that used to be the rule, but didn't they change it for some reason a couple of years back?

Might be me being a bit salty, but to me, this is a much higher quality game.
Lots of errors in this second half, but a high intensity.

@hydro11 I like Mertz and Horan commentating. About the only ones I have the sound on for. But they both seem to be gunning badly for a Wallaby win that their comments are more biased than normal.
I always find Mehrts pretty hard going, doesn't add much and the Aussie bias is always as strong as any of the actual Aussies

Oz had their chances and blew them

Yeah, I know they've tweaked that rule a bit lately, just not sure where they ended up with it. I guess you can be outside the field of play based on that haha

Maybe if you do it with enough confidence then the refs will just doubt whether they've remembered it right and let you get away with it

I don't know what Bell is complaining about. He keeps dropping his shoulder down and in, dragging the scrum down.

Probably the best commentary team I’ve heard in years up here.
Miles Harrison, David Flatman and Justin Harrison.
Great mix of commentary, insights, explanations and light banter.
Flatman and Plank clearly supporters of own teams but neither going overboard. Really well played.
