Qld defence is shot to shit
And they score again
Ponga is really shit by the way
Field position everything tonight
-
Ponga with some matador defence there.
Qld have coughed up too much ball.
Blues have been deadly when they’ve played with width, making huge metres on the edges.
-
@mariner4life Ponga was instrumental in that first Qld try, getting into the line, but other than that has been MIA.
He simply doesn’t have the game for Origin when it’s an arm wrestle. He can’t hit the ball up, unlike Tedesco.
-
Andrew Johns with a masterclass tonight in biased commentary

This is a stitch up
Game 3 decider guaranteed
Greatest game ever needs a thrilling conclusion.
-
well, that was a step up on game one, until the sin bin. Game was changed right there. The scramble defence in the following 10 minutes sucked out all energy from Qld and the rout ensued.
Tupou showed how valuable he could be last night though and having Burton really helped spread the kicking around, still shame about the sin bin
One Qld fan wins my support lol

When I got up this morning I checked Tribe app for the score, not the result as obviously that was a foregone conclusion, but I was surprised by the score.

The refereeing was a disgrace. Clear attempt to make Queensland competitive.

Gagai and Papalii on last chance saloon here i reckon. Both have been very average this series.
Nanai has struggled to make any impact on the field (yes excuse in G1) and needs to fill some very big tackling boots. Qld will give away less 6-agains though.
Bit of defense this game wouldn't go amiss. Yes even you Kalyn
-
Kaufusi and Haas forced changes to both sides, but the success of the cowboys has seen players filled from their team in either side. Probably lucky the bye comes for them this week from an NRL perspective.
-
Munster and Taulagi out with covid
FML
-
Ardie knows what's up
The biggest game of the week is still, fuck probably 6 hours away by the time we get through all the pregame bullshit.
No way Qld overcomes the loss of Munster, leaving DCE to win us the game. Someone in the backs would have to play a fucking blinder, along with a couple of forwards.
Munster and Cotter were Qld's best players in G1, and they are gone.
Meanwhile NSW are packed with Panthers, and those fluffybunnies never ever get hurt. So their most important players are all there. Cleary and Burton will kick Qld to death, they'll win the territory battle by fuckloads, and at one point score a quick run of tries to win by about 16.
Fuck you cleary you suspiciously pimply and wide jawed fuck.
Oh, and Jerome Luia will do fuck all for most of the game, but still celebrate hardest and mouth off the absolute most because he is a fuckhead.

you just don't "get" origin
we are always the underdog. always
sure, our team may at one point have had peak Slater, Inglis, Thurston, Lockyer, Smith, Petro, Price et al
but we were fucking underdogs mate. Qld spirit won that.
deadset

nah you just always on origin spirits .. bundy and brown tap water XXXX
I think this will be a brutal encounter, on paper you would think the Blues get up, but that never translates in Origin. Blues to squash some cane toads but not by as much as we think.
I would be interested to have a rugby union ref watch the game and find how many cards they could dish out applying some unions laws, I suspect it would finish as a game of sevens at best

Strap in sports fans
This is it. The decider. The greatest show on turf. The crucible. At the home of origin. You will not see better than this.
This is what it means to be a Queenslander etc
