Olakau'atu needs to be in that NSW team. He's just bullying guys out there.
He reminds me a lot of prime Tony Puletua.
Looks like he's turning down NSW to play for Tonga next week.
Wow, a big call.
Puletua, what a player. He was awesome at the Panthers and for the Kiwis. That tandem with Joe Galuvao was quite something.
-
Yeah but prime Puletua was nothing compared to prime Botha.

Does he need to do that? I thought he could do it and then play for Tonga at he World Cup under the new rules?
-
Lol the Bulldogs proving what an absolute spud Barrett is as a coach.

He can, but there's a bit of a schedule clash with Tonga facing the Kiwis next week on Saturday and the Origin game being the next day. I think he still can play in the 3rd game of Origin.

The Hair Bears were awesome.
Puletua was a handful.
I liked how Penrith used him as a hybrid prop/second rower. In their own half he'd be used as a prop, then in the oppositions half he'd be used as an edge forward. It's how someone like David Fifita should be used.
I still remember Galuvao starting his career with the Warriors as a fullback. Who knew he'd eventually end up as a prop.
-
well, the good news keeps coming
We've got Penrith this weekend
That Melbourne scoreline is definitely under threat.
-
Luciano Leilua fails his way up. Plays so shit for the Tigers they are happy to release him.
And he goes to the Cowboys as a short-term replacement for Luki who did his knee.
He'll need to buck his ideas up or he won't get a game and he'll be playing for the Pride
-
couple of international squads announced in Tonga and NZ
Staggs and Tupou, two players from NSW in Origin 1 are selected for Tonga, and must now choose. Making a fucking mockery of both camps to be honest.
And can someone explain to be when Shaun Johnson became a "legend"? Anyway, he's been cut from the kiwis. Hugely shocking i know

Pleased for DWZ making the Kiwi squad. His effort hasn’t lacked all season even with all the crap.
-
I haven't watched much NRL for a couple a years. How do the Kiwis stack up?
-
A kiwi side with one Warriors player in it
And he's playing shithouse.
If ever there was a damning indictment on a club, it's that right there.
(also the fuck did we become the Vodaphone Warriors? no wonder guys leave when they are surprised they have to move to NZ)

dude, that's faint praise. effort and ability are two very different things.

Couple of top level talents. A smattering of mid-level talents.
Some that wouldn't get a gig at a top 4 club.
