As I write this (my previous post) Alex Fidow's inability to prop a scrum gets shown up graphically. Ireland score from the resultant penalty.

Converted. Ireland leads 30-19 with 73 minutes on the clock.

And then NZ (Tuitama) scores! 30-24.

What's that NZ replacement halfback trying to achieve with kneeing his opponent while he's putting the ball in the scrum? Lucky the ref didn't see it. What a moron.

And then again, now giving away a penalty. Who is that?

Ireland up to 33-24. NZ can't win anymore with less than 2 minutes to go.

Our scrum is just embarrassing. Humiliated. You can't expect to win without a set piece. Not to mention yet another NZ goalkicker who can't.

Did I hear that he played for Samoa in last years tournament?

Well done young Paddies. Brought the heat up front on defence and stunned our forwards.

I thought they said that about Malo Tuitama, not the replacement halfback?

Now the question is: what can Robertson and co. do to avoid losing the third game? It's clear what our weak points are and Wales will have noticed that, too.

TJ Va'a and Jonah Lowe should start, but what else? Can you really improve a forward pack in a few days?

Ireland did not even have to have any 'project' players. It must be a little concerning to the powers that be in NZ for their team that consists of players who probably do very little with their lives other than to devote it fulltime to training and practicing rugby (even if they are not getting paid for it) to be turned over in rather comfortable fashion by unheralded Ireland.
