The Crusaders medical team has provided the following update on the injury loose forward Ethan Blackadder sustained during the Quarter Final against the Reds on Friday night:

Ethan Blackadder dislocated his left shoulder against the Reds. The Crusaders medical team has commenced investigations which will assist in determining the best management of this injury, and Ethan will have scans this week.

A likely return to play timeframe won't be known for a couple of weeks, but Ethan will not be available for the remainder of the DHL Super Rugby Pacific play-offs.

I got some good oil a certain Loose forward from the Highlanders is coming to the Crusaders next year and since big Pablo isn’t staying Robertson had been hounding him to sign for weeks.

Would be hugely disappointing for the Canterbury All Stars to pick up a lad like CLW. While he didn't make the original squad, injuries curtailed his season. Whenever he was available he was picked. Initial injury was in the pre-season and then another in the game he started. Otago and the Highlanders failed this exceptionally talented player by not identifying him early. But it will be a hell of a shame to lose him.
