The difference between these teams should be bigger. Why isn't is?
Lindisfarne's defence is better than I expected, but Hastings Boys' doesn't exactly look like champions material either. Their Super 8 matches will tell us more, but if I was a betting man, my money would be on Napier at the moment, not Hastings.

The field is really muddy now, and players are sliding on the field.
Hastings again on attack. They're in the left corner that isn't visible for the camera.
Excellent team try, all thanks to a run from the left winger on the right side of the field, but it's one of their taller players who scores. The other lock? Or the number 5 again?
Hastings left winger converts the try. Time's almost up.
7 - 33 Hastings.

Cheers for the updates @Stargazer - I too am wondering about why it's so close.

@Nepia I think the wet conditions played it's part - they certainly caused some of the handling errors - but that works both ways. So that doesn't explain everything. Obviously, Lindisfarne must have been very motivated. A local derby at home, cheered on by about all other students (it was quite noisy). That must have lifted their game.
Not having team line-ups from Hastings also makes it impossible to see whether it was a full-strength squad playing today, or that they were again missing players.
Super 8 will tell us more.
I'm really keen to find out who some of the players are.

Very dumb play from the Napier left winger, who in attempt to keep the ball in play, slaps it back for one of the Palmy players to pick it up. Almost try, but held-up.
From the following penalty, then line-out, Palmy's hooker dives over though.
Palmy's fullback converts the try.
7 - 10 Palmy
