Chiefs U20 v Highlanders U20

Highlanders quite impressive, up 20 nil after about 30 minutes. Finn Hurley and Noah Hotham looking like Rockstars

@SouthernMann Chiefs U20s improved during the half, but don't seem to be able to score. Good defence from the Highlanders U20s.
Half time: Chiefs U20 0 - 20 Highlanders U20

upto the 12min on mysky & Hotham scores🙂
He is a heck of a young player. I would chuck him straight into the full squad next year. Same with Holland and I would be tempted by the midfield as well. I think someone like Faleafaga could work well with TUG. Really like some of the front rowers and same with Haig at lock as well. Hurley and Asi seem like they have a lot of potential as well. Still don't see the fuss about Cam Miller apart from the fact he can knock goals over.

Don't want to take away from the Highlanders U20s' win, but the Chiefs U20 played poorly. Like they thought they'd just walk over the Highlanders after their big win over the Hurricanes U20 on Wednesday.
Hotham up playing for Ta$man,I hear the crusaders are looking at him.

@Chris Great talent. Played really well.
They are looking for a young HB for next season.
Probably a real chance to move into a starting spot at the Crusaders in a shorter time frame, instead of trying to get past the HBs at the Landers. -
I have finally skimmed through a viewing of this game. The Chiefs were completely dominated in the tackle so the backs were always on the back foot. Losing both 1st 5s by HT didn't help the Chiefs but I don't think it would have mattered.
Noah Hotham was definitely the most influential player on the field.
Te Hiwi was one of the form midfield backs in the tournament so deserves selection for the NZ U20s IMO.
