Or just remove the club.

The owner looks and acts like a boofhead. He greenlighted Nathan Brown as coach. He bad mouthed Eric Watson, who for better or worse saw us go to at least one final (I can't recall if he was owner for both our finals runs), a feat I have little faith in this guy achieving anytime soon

Melbourne bounce back after it appears Munster takes the talk about his form personally and rips Manly a new one
The Storm didn't even play well, and were still waaaay too good for Manly
Des Hasler is a dour shit coach who got fucking lucky to have Tommy Turbo be an absolute freak. Every other part of his team could easily be described as "workmanlike". To be expected with their halves being an organiser and a very old man. Garrick is a solid finisher but not a creator. They are just an ordinary side
Also more evidence last night that NSW should absolutely 100% pick Jake Turbo to start in Origin 1.

don't underestimate how important it was for Munster to have Hughes, he was playing like Cody Walker without him, he was in beast mode last night though

not underestimating it. Every creative player needs the solid guy he can trust next to him. The chat about his form was wildly overstated though.

Munster has been great all year , it was like when they lost Hughes , paps, Nelson plus a few others , the collective effort was down . Some of the forwards stats didn’t read great either , but Munster copped the brunt from the media .
While on hughes , he’s a beauty , storm did well to lock him away for a few years before the other clubs come knocking.

That's some comeback by the Broncos. 31 points in 28 minutes.
Panthers proving the only team with a chance of beating them is a fully fit Melbourne.
Seriously, fans of both the warriors and the tigers must wonder why thr Panthers look so fucking overwhelming on both sides of the ball. To me they are proving talent makes coaches not the other way around.
-
@mariner4life that second YC for the Titans was one of the dumbest plays from a player I’ve seen for some time (and I’ve watched every Warriors game…)
And Titans are up 24-10 and there’s still 20+ minutes to go and you try a short restart kick??? Result, Broncos immediate try. Dumb.

We dropped our heads and lost our shape after that non-call for a repeat set when SJ grubber kicked and Milford clearly stuck his leg out to stop it.
-
i for one an devastated for Jake Turbo, should have been a lock
And it's a huge show of respect for Qld that Tupou has been picked over JAC
Qld are a good shout this year

The Warriors are deadset fucking cooked. Pea hearted, dumb, and pretty much talentless. Not a player on the squad worth turning up to watch.
Brown is fucked and needs to go. His biggest crime? (besides being a proven failure who is delivering exactly what we all expected) is picking SJ every week despite all the evidence that he just does not want to be there.
But the problems are so much deeper than the coach and the players. The organisation is fucked. The owner comes across as just a fucking piston wristed gibbon of epic proportions (anyone who refers to themselves as an alpha male is a deadshit). The football department is stuck in groundhog day with its decision making.
If the club decides to make a change, they will do what they have always done:
Pick a failed coach who is on the merry-go-round
Sign a bunch of offcasts from other failed clubs, or guys looking for 1 last contract. All of these players will be old, and lacking in any creative spark
Expect to build something off this. The joint is absolutely cooked, lacking in any sort of plan, or positive identity. It's proves how little Australia gives a fuck about the Warriors that they are not under the torch pretty much full time. We play turgid football even when we are "on" and it takes fuck all to throw the team "off" and when that happens they fall in a heap.
The lack of public accountability around this fucking organisation is yet another damning stain on the NZ sports media that just straight up refuses to be critical of anyone.
-
oh, and i keep reading Warriors fans want to get Geoff Toovey in as coach
The bloke hasn't coached anywhere in 5 years, and hasn't coached in the NRL for 7. Anyone out of the game for that long cannot compete, everything has changed too much.
