the fuck?
The Warriors are paying Lodge $700k not to play for us?????
This club is seriously... actually i have run out of words. fuck 'em
(that's M4L in his NQ Cowboys gear trying to get the Warriors out of his head)
yeah this is seriously Farked ..i dont often buy into the NSW league journo BS, but I agree with them, there is more to this story and it doesn't look good for the club, it is incredibly poor management and it stays on our books for 18 more months... farked I say

you know, looking at those squads, i am significantly more bullish about Qld than i was 12 months ago
12 months ago was peak "6-again massive scoreline madness" and the NSW team was packed full of guys who could really really hurt you. Tommy Turbo was the best player in the comp, Latrell was tearing shit up, Tedesco was sniffing around the ruck and tearing teams open. All the NSW hooker and halves had to do was give them the seed.
This year? The game is a bit tighter again. Tommy Turbo and Latrell are gone. Tedesco is woefully out of form (to the point he actually hinders the Roosters' attack). As good as Staggs and Crichton are, they are a huge step down from where those two were.
Yes Penrith are far and away the best side, and their two most important players are in NSW. But i expect this to be a much closer affair.
If Harry Grant's injury rules him out, it could make it interesting but QLD should be confident this year, especially with the resurgence of form of both Brisbane and North Queensland

WTF, I just read an article about this. Cameron George is an idiot. O'Sullivan played the Warriors big time but the Warriors diehard fans lapped him and George up as the saviours of the club.
For once I agree with Paul Kent, the NRL Integrity Unit needs to investigate this bullshit.

What a bunch of fnuckles
-
all will be forgiven if this was all so we could sign Payne Haas this week from the Broncs
-
@mariner4life lol, was thinking the same thing.. we would not be so lucky though, would be great though
-
@Nepia you do have to wonder what was said/done by Robinson and Lodge, this still sounds like the PG cover up version. I don't think an investigation will reveal everything, they are all clearly hiding something, but i also doubt the full truth gets out.
but it does show the the owner of the club is rotten as well

The only thing not rotten in the club is Tohu.
-
@Nepia lol.. i know where you're going, I am not joining that belief just ..yet!

Or just remove the club.

The owner looks and acts like a boofhead. He greenlighted Nathan Brown as coach. He bad mouthed Eric Watson, who for better or worse saw us go to at least one final (I can't recall if he was owner for both our finals runs), a feat I have little faith in this guy achieving anytime soon

Melbourne bounce back after it appears Munster takes the talk about his form personally and rips Manly a new one
The Storm didn't even play well, and were still waaaay too good for Manly
Des Hasler is a dour shit coach who got fucking lucky to have Tommy Turbo be an absolute freak. Every other part of his team could easily be described as "workmanlike". To be expected with their halves being an organiser and a very old man. Garrick is a solid finisher but not a creator. They are just an ordinary side
Also more evidence last night that NSW should absolutely 100% pick Jake Turbo to start in Origin 1.

don't underestimate how important it was for Munster to have Hughes, he was playing like Cody Walker without him, he was in beast mode last night though

not underestimating it. Every creative player needs the solid guy he can trust next to him. The chat about his form was wildly overstated though.

Munster has been great all year , it was like when they lost Hughes , paps, Nelson plus a few others , the collective effort was down . Some of the forwards stats didn’t read great either , but Munster copped the brunt from the media .
While on hughes , he’s a beauty , storm did well to lock him away for a few years before the other clubs come knocking.
