What a band and what a frontman, they would be sensational to see live.
Stevie Wonder called
He can dance and he can see.
Stevie was cool but I prefer Jay Kay.
Beazer Home League
Are you saying that cos he’s a bit of a dickhead ? If so I agree but the guy is a fucken incredible frontman.
Style over substance

Yeah I thought of it later and as you’d already replied I had to add it.
Awkward ferning.
Stevie did some of the best music ever but also more than his fair share of crap in my opinion. The song I quoted is awful, karaoke cheesy shit.
I actually don’t like Higher Ground or Superstition much either.
But Sir Duke, Do I do, That Girl, Don’t Worry about a thing and My Cherie Amour amongst others are absolutely beautiful songs.

Agreed
But the pipes never disappointed

Not any band, singer or song, but this guy's youtube channel is awesome if you want to really understand what's going on in a song or piece of music. Anyone who uses a frequency analyser to explain to non-muso's why Ella Fitzgerald is so bloody great has to be something special...
Well worth a visit.

@Victor-Meldrew that’s fantastic. Perfect.

Kiss are a funny old band, a few genuine bangers and I think it’s cool that every single member sang on at least one decent track.
They’ll never be one of my absolute favourites but they did some good rock in the day.

Kiss doing disco back in 1979. This was a no.1 single in NZ along with a number of other countries. A novelty song in their catalogue.

Throw back to Stevie Wonder:
He’s no Jay Kay but Stevie went alright I guess
Jay Kay is a good showman and singer but the real star of Jamiroquai was Stuart Zender. Without his bass playing they were pretty average. At least Jay Kay recognised this and always had him up front stage.
His lines made the songs great (helped by the beautiful tones he'd get from those Warwick basses)This is a cover (Roy Ayers) but still, he has improved it.

Yep, awesome bass player but then again the whole band are absolutely top notch. SOOOOOOOOOOO tight when you see them live ( not that I have but I’ve seen lots on DVD and YouTube ) and they do not miss a beat.
