And yeah - I love rugby but I hate a comp where any team i support has no chance of winning.
Then why do you watch it?
To be fair to Derpus, he gets real pissed and says he hates it, but is a rugby man so can't stop watching it!

@Damo The worst decision was RTS not getting yellow-carded, but yeah, that decision was wrong, too.
That certainly would have been an incompetent decision.

Awesome ticker to get up there! Thought it was madness going for the 3 to go 18-12 up but it managed to get us home in a backwards sort of way haha. Gee I hope we don't bump into them again, they're a nightmare to play against.
Awesome shift from our loose trio led by Sotutu (my MOTM), with Tucker and Eklund also putting in huge shifts. Thought we may have left it a bit late bringing the tight 5 bench forwards on to match them physically up front, would have bought them on 10 minutes earlier with the way the game was going and the style that was presented to us and they did make a difference. Was also glad Eklund got left out there too.
In the backs, RTS also had his best game at this level imo, His carries got us over the advantage line every time and his defence has improved out of sight. He'll have his critics no doubt, but he's starting to look like he belongs in this code. Clarke was brilliant until going off injured too, hopefully he's not out for too long. Christie had his struggles but it was always gonna be a tough night with the way they managed to slow our ball down and the constant whining and niggle White was presenting. Don't know why they took him off personally.
Ala'alatoa can also fuck off with his whinging about the penalty count, it was deserved and they're always gonna run the risk with the way they push the boundaries and the less said about Justin Harrison the better. Even Morgan Turunui was getting annoyed with him at the end.

@KiwiMurph He has absolutely nothing to whinge about. It's an effective style against sides that like to play up tempo but expect to give away a lot of penalties with it.

Has this fuckwit given up refereeing the breakdown?
Even his positioning is awful

This was entirety predictable because he was a pretty average 7s referee too.

Yo NTA explain that last call? Looks to me like the Blues player is lying on the ball preventing a perfectly legal attempt at a pilfer?
The ruck is formed before the Brumbies player tries to play the ball with his hand. He is part of the ruck and needs to not try to play the ball. Pretty easy call.

Seriously can't catch a break. Fuck SR.
That was an epic game. If you didn’t enjoy that do you even like rugby?
Agreed. Not like it was a 50-point thrashing!
Both teams ripped in and while it was not high quality, it was fucking intense.

You want me - or anyone else - to interpret Murphy?
That's a language nobody else speaks.

@Damo How is it? there's no other Brumbies player there. In fact, there's no one else, just him..
Look again. There are two blues players, both of whom make contact with him prior to his attempt.
To go for ball you need to be the first player there, not arrive after the opposition.

Lineout and scrum immediately improved with arrival of Nepo, Karl and Romero. Last named also gave Blues some good go forward.
Perofeta showed some excellent judgement, in particular with time up, declining to tackle when Ponies all over his outsides, and taking ball up well. Lovely delayed pass for BB try.
