Rory going hard, eagled 13 to get 1 back from Smith, still 5 back from Scheffler
-
Rory in the clubhouse at -7 (3 back) after a sizzling 65 today, Scheffler has a decent chance at birdie on 13.

Wow Scheffler just chips in for birdie on the 3rd. Both he and Smith had just missed the green with their approaches and balls rolled back to within a foot from each other at the bottom of the hill. Scheffler bang in the hole. Smith likely to bogey so two shot swing
That was the tournament right there. Scheffler was wobbling big time, and had his lead cut to one at that point he could have self combusted.
Instead he plays an amazing chip and Smith bogeys. It settles Scheffler and Smith never really recovers.

could go in the Awesome stuff thread too...
Not sure why that Youtube clip keeps embedding itself....

Apparently that is not a proper tee box...
"It's not a hole-in-one, because it wasn't really a par 3," Brady said. "We were in the middle of the fairway on a par 4, and I would have had to play the whole round for it to be a real hole-in-one. It was a once-in-a-lifetime shot, that's for sure, but it wasn't a hole-in-one unfortunately. I can't claim that."

Poor old Foxy this morning in the Dutch Open. Was playing brilliantly then double bogey on the last and in to a playoff which he lost on the 4th playoff hole (after some great golf).
And now Steve Alker wins again on the Senior PGA, one of the senior majors too with a final round 63!

Can anyone do an analysis of money earned pre and post Senior tour for Alker?

Im sure it will be covered in one of the media articles about to come out. It'll be one hell of a contrast thats for sure

@JK and the huge putt Periera sunk to force the play off.
Do wonder if Fox could do with improving his fitness, he seems to fade late in his rounds and in the weekend....maybe just a coincidence.
Alker is killing it.
this shows his seasonal earnings, late 2021 onwards is a different player.

Think hes running a 1.9m US for this year and 0.8m US last year vs around 2m US for pre 2019
