@gt12 yeah they drafted Jimmy Jackson in 92, then Mashburn in 93 and Kidd in 94.
That 94-95 where they had all three of them for the first season they were average a combined 60+ points and really fun to watch. Did they win games, more than the previous season, but they were still poor.

Later they had Nowitzki-Finley-ascendant Nash only to allow Nash to leave in free agency just as they were getting good. Who would go back to PHX to become 2 x league MVP. One of Mark Cuban's regrets I bet

I am sure someone will give him a deal elsewhere. But it was inevitable that Kyrie's behaviour would eventually have commercial implications for him. Personally, I wouldn't offer him a long term deal for anything either. The guy is too irresponsible
-
Well that was some rebounding performance by the Warriors. Beat the Grizz at their own game! Klay finally had a breakout shooting game too. They were a bit careless with the ball but their high risk, high reward ball is what they thrive on.

The cream has risen to the top and we have the 8 best teams in the semis. Not just because of their records, but because they were just better.
Heat v Philly - with Embiid out indefinitely you would think Heat are home and hosed, but could this be Harden’s time. Like Boston, the Heat play very deep and are defensively very good. Heat in 5
Bucks v Boston - just mouthwatering what this series could throw up. Can Tatum and Brown trouble TGF and Holiday? Both teams have very good supporting casts. Boston in 7
Suns v Mavs - a bit of a wildcard. The Mavs 5 out offence will minimise the strengths of the Suns defensive game and Ayton’s shot blocking. Play zone and the Mavs have the shooters. Book looked well off 100% in game 6 so it will be interesting how he goes. Mavs in 7
Warriors v Memphis - the rebounding game of Memphis will really trouble the Warriors. But the Warriors do have a defensive game that will trouble Morant, Bane and Jackson. Klay getting back to his best could be massive for the Dubs. Warriors in 6
Bump 😎

As good defence on Book as I’ve seen this season. Suns were crowded and just turned it over time and again. CP3 looked tired.
Bullock hitting shots certainly helps the Mavs too.
Game 7 and the Mavs have the best player, Suns have the best team.
Cant see us getting up, but really pleased to see us compete so well. C’mon Luka!
Nah bro, keep the faith. I picked Mavs in 7 and still believe.
I’ve been a Mavs fan since 1992, I know many years of pain.
I like the way Luka is getting the Suns to pick their poison - the pieces around him can all catch and shoot and that’s what’s needed to offset his skills on the ball.
This is how teams should be built around LeBron, but they keep letting him play GM and mess it up

Just because you are the best player doesn't mean you know how to build a team

The irony is that when they went to the Lebron at centre lineup midway through this season the Lakers did try to play like that, but someone in front office said “Crap, we traded all our shooters”

Celtics through, Bucks out
Really starting to lean towards the winner of the East will win the finals.

Better contributions from the supporting cast, 3pt shooting and without Middleton the spacing for the Celts defence was just easier.
Happy for Tatum, Brown and Coach Udoka.
Two very different styles in the Heat and Celtics coming up. Celts love the 3, Heat play outside in, using Bam and Butler inside.

both teams are very good defensively too

A nice start here from the Mavs. Exploiting mismatches, playing it at their pace, forcing the Suns into tough shots, running them off the 3pt shot.
-
This is some defensive effort from the Mavs. Crowding Book and CP3. Ayton is 7 foot but playing like he’s 5’10.
-
Suns are going to have to play a 2nd half for the ages to get out of this one.
-
Dinwiddie and Doncic putting on a clinic.
-
Woohoo Luka with the pirouette 3pt shot
-
Suns crowd booing at half time.

we'll they are getting fucking pumped at home in a G7 and they have scored less than 30 points in a half
I would boo as well.
-
I'm watching the game but what's most amazing is the box score with no suns in double figures.
