@bones Rosmini still produces some quality forwards. Jimmy and Ethan Roots in recent years.

Highlanders should be happy with that, all things considered

The Canes have defs been a second half team this year so I'm sure we have plenty in the tank.

Jordie got taken right across the face, what the fuck if the ref doing

Yeah Coltman, that should be a yellow. AR should have picked that up, arm to face, mitigation as jordie was dipping into contact, yellow

Didn't see it. What happened? Was it foul play or accidental?

@stargazer defs a penalty, he tackled Jordie right around the head. Can't believe they missed it.

@canes4life When Jordie carried into contact on about the 22 line at the Highlanders end? Maybe 36 mins in?

No such thing as accidental head shot any more, Coltman took him around the face, hard, but would be mitigated to yellow as jordie was ducking into contact

Are the ABs in for a ton of high shot cards this year? 😕

How often do incidents like that seemingly get overlooked by the citing commissioner?

I don't want people going over games with a fine tooth comb, but often incidents deserving more, are not addressed by the citing commissioner, which is where I believe the league report system seems to work better.

Maybe they need a wider scope than they have currently, which I have no idea what it is.

These not being picked up in SR is not going to help the ABs, cos NH refs are much better at spotting them. So yeah, expect record numbers of cards and losses

@machpants Incorrect. One of the questions in the Head Contact Process is whether there was any foul play. Foul play can be intentional or reckless. Accidental = no foul play.

Ok reckless then, so yeah foul play. The way it's reffed is that if you hit their head, by definition that is foul play.

@machpants Common mistake. Many people think it's either intentional or accidental, and forget or don't know about what's in-between (reckless).

Ok but if you hit their head in a tackle it's always reckless

@stargazer and yet reckless when talking about police charges is the highest, careless is the 'lightest'

@machpants No, that's a ridiculous statement. Sometimes head contact cannot be avoided.

Ok, but that's not how is reffed. I've never heard it mentioned on the refs mic

Anyway in this case it was reckless
