Rieko didn't make any breaks, but he had a lot of tough carries in traffic that got us going.

@tim Sotutu was like a man possessed

Hoskins was great. He didn't drift out of the game like he's prone to do. Also made the effort to make sure each his plays counted. Hit hard on D, was a pest at the ruck and did it for 80.

What a great game and from a Blues point of view grateful for the win ,but on the other hand I have got to say what a champion team the Crusaders are ..no other team would have come back like that after looking down and out

Surely Jordan has to be the All Black fullback? He needs to get his hands on the ball more in Test rugby.

Not decent international teams ten are going to kick it to him as much as beaudy did

I don't see how that's relevant to my point.

Think that win will be great for this team's collective psyche going forward. Lot of pressure to beat the Crusaders.

Now Barrett, don't kick it back to Jordan so much!

Win or lose, Sotutu clear MOTM. He’s been everywhere.

    Don't you ignore the DP

Barely seen in the 2nd half.

    Until he was!

Congrats blues! Can't help but think Beauds should have gone off and Perofeta stayed on...

Bones, you and I are at one on that. Perofeta would have been much more measured.

Blues loosies got through plenty of tackles

    Robinson 10 (2 misses)
    Papali'i 21 (0 misses)
    Sotutu 15 (0 misses)

Worth mentioning Ioanes defensive game too: 16 tackles, 2 misses. That's an usually high number of tackles for a centre

Those talking up Perofeta for the ABs were premature. He showed a lack of big game temperament in this game.

Papali'i - the best player on the field.

I'm going to praise Fraser as well, who didn't get fooled by either team trying to milk penalties.

No idea how the commentary was I didn't listen to it! 🙂

    That's s really nice win.

Not much downside if we lost, but damn that feels good. Blues continuing to build nicely.

Remember, the first crusaders title was a burglary... Ya got to start somewhere. This looked like dominance in a lot of key areas.

Yea, cos Perofeta was playing amazing rugby before he came off... there is some absolute rubbish mentioned on here.

Magnificent result for this team, great game to watch.

Our looses completely dominated theirs. First half BB was excellent, second half kicked a bit too much and not well. But outplayed RM fairly comprehensively.

FC must be the form halfback in the country too.

Dalton was immense for us tonight. Tackles like a demon, carried well, calm.

As for the red card, SB is a grub. He had plenty of time to pull out of that, cowardly and could make an argument that he did that on purpose. Better get more than three weeks.

Imagine that sort of brain dead thuggery in a World Cup. Puke.

Yeah, he wilted a bit under the pressure. Good experience for him to improve from.

I prefer Sullivan at 15, but Perofeta has been good for us at ten.

Not being a dick here, but honestly didn't notice Blackadder at all. Big Red had his number.
