The Timberwolves are the highest scoring team in the NBA (8179 points from their 71 games) and they are continuing their fine recent form, currently administering a blood nose to the high flying Milwaukee outfit, ahead by 24 at three quarter time.
A good win from the T’Wolves today against Dallas. KAT only taking 10 shots and you beat the Mavs by 20+, that’s a solid team effort.

Suns 100% the team to beat. Paul back and in the swing of things already. Huge favourites for the title
God knows who they will play in the finals. Celtics just hit the top of the East and are absolutely flying. I think Tatum might be my favourite player in the league. But it's a mess really and i don't think anyone is happy with their path.

oooh
Lakers lose to the Pels and all of a sudden missing the play-in is a very real possibility.
It was not supposed to be like this

Yeah I really doubted we'd be as good this year. I thought maybe CP3 would finally be in decline and the rest wouldn't be able to make up for it. But Paul is every bit as good as any other year, and in his recent absence others easily carried the load. Book is having his best year and we're seeing year on year incremental improvement from Ayton and Bridges. Throw in the veteran presence in the front court of Crowder and McGee, and the contributions of a whole bunch of guys from Cam Payne and Cam Johnson to recent additions Bismack Biyombo and Torrey Craig (again) plus Shamet et al and it's one helluva deep squad this year. Goes to show how much value there is in actually building a squad and getting the right pieces who work together, as opposed to just grabbing 2-3 superstars and assuming results will come.

I agree, except Booker feels pretty underrated to me. He and CP3 are proper superstars plus their pieces, and they are a great team to watch.
I’m still hoping Luka and Spencer fuck your shut up of course, but if the Suns go out of West I’ll be supporting them (unless its the Bucks, then maybe I’m 50/50).

loooool
it's gone so very wrong in LA, and now that missing even the play in is a chance, suddenly LBJ is hurt. Operation "Not my fault" is in full effect
also, check this out for a quote
"S*** I hope not, because I hate missing games. That’s not in my nature"
Insanely great player, but an easy athlete to dislike
-
oh, and in a crushing blow for the Celtics, Robert Williams has torn his meniscus and is done for the year. Another young guy who was crushing it in Boston.
-
@mariner4life he may be back for playoffs depending on what surgery option they take
-
@gt12 lol
without being too cringy
could he be any more fucking kiwi? Gets a compliment, immediately finds something wrong. Down plays what he does, makes a joke about himself.
For a country that so very much likes to examine our standing in the world, individually we don't half battle to take praise. It's a very peculiar trait.

The Greek Freak is making a real tilt for the MVP. His form of late has been quite something.
Three horse race in my view - TGF, Joker and Embiid

Windhorst was on one of the shows today, and it was interesting as he talked about a survey of voters suggesting that the Joker has it sewn up.
Lots of pretty fantastic players around, so treckon this season is beat because there are young players stepping up, plus the established stars.
The only disappointment for me has been Zions absence. What are the thoughts on that? Would you stay?

They've long been considered the top three. Mounting comments in media and social media around Devin Booker's omission from the conversation. The general feeling is how can a guy averaging 26/5/5 on a team with 60+ wins, not be right up there? Surely Book's impact on the Suns results is equal to if not greater than that top 3? And there is a stat floating around about his numbers, the Sun's record and now many blokes in his position have won the MVP.

Having a phenomenal season but I think you answer your own question - because it’s only 26/5/5.
Book for me is in that next tier with DeRozan, Luka, Morant and Curry (despite the shooting woes etc was still getting 25/5/6).
It’s not always about the numbers but it sort of is.
-
@act-crusader Yeah totally, and the goal posts seem to shift re criteria, regularly. Steve Nash won one of his two averaging 16/11!

Grizzlies beat the Suns without Morant, Bane, Jackson Jr and Adams.
Great to see Brooks back and firing.
They are not going to be able to hold on to all these great young players. Teams will come knocking with the cheque book
