@donsteppa they'd have to be abject to lose from here though.

    Where would Shrubsole normally bat?

Oh my god. This will be an epic choke if they lose this. Surely the Poms won't lose from here?

9, 10, 11... from what I've seen she's liable to try slogging it out of the ground like Timmy at any stage...

England would win on DLS... even before that boundary to tie the scores as I type...

The 2 experienced players didn't want to take responsibility and bowl. 🙄

Never made enough runs. England generously made it far closer than it should have been

England as defending champs are a slightly better performing version of the NZ squad. A weak middle and lower order batting lineup, and with 2-3 players in their squad on long term reputation rather than form.

Yep, I'm sure that there's something not quite right in that squad and leadership/coaching setup...

Embarrassing stuff from the White Ferns at home. Makes the ad with Bates saying nothing can stop them look pretty lame now.

Picking Jonas ahead of Kasperek looks a pretty poor decision in hindsight. Probably with foresight as well, but I wasn't paying any attention.

Three close losses - can't afford that.

However, would have been a miracle if we'd been able to beat Oz in the play-offs - especially with Tahuhu and Devine probably broken.

We could have called in Kasperek! 🙂
