So Curry, MJ, KD, LeBron and TD. I reckon that'd go OK?
With Kobe, Bird and Shaq off the bench 😎
-
I'd probably go for Stockton at PG. Centre is a tough one as I totally get the small ball argument and that positions are a lot more interchangeable than they ever used to be, but I'm still inclined to pick a 'specialist' and the tinkering can come during a game using the bench. So with that in mind, my personal favourite was The Admiral but it's hard to look past The Dream.

Lol fuck what a joke
To prove how little the All Star game means, Anthony Davis is 5th in the voting ( 2nd returns)
-
to steal an old, and not particularly good joke
never let the Spurs walk your dog, they cannot hold on to a lead
Leading the Suns by 4 at 3/4, they go on to score 16 in the 4th and get blown out by 14. Booker had himself a day out.

after a bit over half the season the East is a shitfight!! There are only 6 games between 1st and 11th! It drops away after that, but that is really close, and no team seems to be able to string wins together.
In the West the top 4 have kicked clear, but there are still plenty of teams in contention for the play-in.
Injuries and Covid outs having a big impact.

And with KD out, will the Nets drop back into the middle of the pack. 8 of their next 10 games are on the road, so will have Kyrie, but there are some tough away games in that stretch - Suns, Warriors, Jazz, Nuggets,

Jokic with the big stat line today. 1 point off a 50-point triple-double.
That was a really exciting game. What a pass at the end by Joker to find Gordon for the go ahead 3.
Really enjoyed the Bucks and Grizzlies game. Adams was a menace on the O-boards again. 8 offensive rebounds in 26 minutes. Grizzlies lost but they showed real fight and a bit of mettle against the World Champs.
Funniest thing from todays games, the Nets assistant coach deflecting the ball and the refs didn’t do anything about it. Washington get pinged with a turnover.
-
Funniest result was the Lakers losing at home to the Pacers getting pumped in the 4th.
I'm sorta stuck between wanting Curry to get another ring, and the Suns going one step further. Either side will have my support in the finals

And the Pacers did it without Miles Turner. Ol’ Russ had a strange game (albeit I only watched a condensed version) but he looked good from 3pt but was bricking plenty of 2pt shots and missing layups too. Went 1-11 from 2pt and 4-6 from 3pt.

I've finally seen that. holy shit i have never seen anything like that in a professional sports game!! hilarious and terrible at the same time! dude just sticks his hand out and intercepts the pass. No call. The ref probably thought "there is no way i saw what i think i saw"
You reckon that coach had that instant regret "oh shit, oh shit, what have i done?"
Surely the league needs to send him to the stands for a few weeks. Some sort of message needs to be sent.
-
lo, $10k fine for the coach, $25k fine for the Nets

The punishment doesn't fit the crime. He should not be on the bench for a game or two
-
goddam it Spurs, are you allergic to 4th quarters? How many 4th Q blowouts for a narrow loss is that this season?
And to the Warriors' 2nd unit too
-
i forgot the play-in was still a thing
God it sucks
Imagine the rest of the season if only the top 8 made post season? In the East the current 5-9 teams would have to put in all the rest of the season to make it, and would be looking over their shoulder at the Hawks coming home hard after that disastrous start. Instead all the top 10 can fuck around and aim more for match ups.
In the West you would have the Nuggets, T-Wolves and the two LA teams all having to push just to make it. Instead they are all in, and will be joined by the least shit of the rest.
The play-in was an okay idea to make up for a truncated season. In a full 82-game schedule it makes zero fucking sense.
