Pretty pleased with Trey Lance's 2nd start for 49ers.

Got better as the game went on and really pushed the ball down the field - his arm opens the field up for the 49ers offense which Jimmy just doesn't offer.

Fairytale today or Browns spoilers? What say ye?

The buildup has already been big. Roethlisberger is a legend so wouldn’t mind seeing him get that 53rd drive and also keep the Steelers hopes alive.

Steelers get the (ugly) win. Browns offence was atrocious.

Coolest thing was the intercept right at the end and Roethlisberger coming back on for the final play of the game to take a knee. Final home game for his career

What a game! 49ers come back from 17-0 to beat the Rams in overtime and make the playoffs.

49ers went the length of the field without any timeouts to score a game tying TD with 20 secs left in regulation.

    Unreal game.

Jimmy G playing with a banged up hand.

    Wow this sport is nuts.

@kiwimurph this has been a fantastic season. I've really enjoyed it. Hope anyone but the BUCS win, but if 🐐 does his thing, you've just got to admire it.

It's an apex sport, more money and equality than probably any other league I know of

    Colts the big losers today

Great regular season and a couple of tasty play off match ups

Hats off to the super banged up Titans getting top seed. That's a hell of a result

    Broncos cleaned house today too.

@mariner4life Fangio did a decent job considering he never had a proper QB during his tenure.

Titans with an extra week's rest could be huge for D Henry.

Wentz gets to watch the Eagles in the playoffs. That loss is going to haunt Colts nation for a long time.

49ers - Cowboys? Yes please. Inject it into my veins.

@kiwimurph fangio fired for being gutless, and being completely unable to manage a clock.

We actually could have won at least 2 more games with decent game day coaching.

He just isn't suited to modern football. Seems a decent bloke (although prone to the blame game at press conference time) and the team obviously respect him. But that's not enough.

Quintessential game of two halves. The 9ers running game took over in the second half

One coach that looks really unlucky is Brian Flores - fired in Miami. That seems like a mistake. I think Miami is gonna take a run at Jim Harbaugh - the owner has chased him before.

Chargers coach did his best to get fired yesterday - their coach went for it on 4th down inside their own 20 yard line halfway through the 3rd quarter down 3 points. Insanity.

If the Dolphins had drafted Herbert instead of Tua it's easy to believe Flores would have the Dolphins as a Super Bowl contender in the AFC.

Flores is as interesting one. The Dolphins have had incredibly soft schedules the last two seasons and despite plenty of fresh talent getting injected in the last off-season their record has gone backwards.

That said, I don't know how many coaches will get sacked after back to back winning records. Be interesting to see where he goes next. If he doesn't get another HC job could be a sign that there really were behind the scenes issues that were limiting him.

From memory he started 1-7 and 0-7 in the last two seasons so that's also a factor. Impressive to turn it around but also the season is basically dead by the time they get going.

Happy for the Bulldogs to be college champs. Unsung QB and a defence that really stepped it up. Not sure if it was stage fright / choke for this ‘Bama team but they got done over in the 4th.

    @act-crusader definitely.

They've been good all year. The only blemish that loss to Bama in the SEC champtionship game a few weeks ago. Bama weren't as good as usual - lost to Texas, and had that crazy 4-5 OT game against Auburn. Still a damn good programme, and gives everyone someone to root against
