Black Caps v Bangladesh 2022

@chris tried to keep a bit myself back in the day. Very low level regional club stuff.
My cricket heroes were keepers, especially Smithy.
(One of my greatest cricketing moments was a hat trick, stumped, caught behind, stumped ... in 4th form .)
And learned a shit load from a Bob Taylor book a mate lent me. How to keep down leg while standing up ... etc
Was never really any good standing up to anyone who wasn't really really slow.
But my opinion is that you need the best guy behind the stumps you can.
So if Blundell is an only an OK kinda batsman and only an OK kinda keeper I'm on the lookout for a better keeper.

Kylo got a life then used it to hole out in the deep. We could be bowling soon
Wasn't great from the sith lord. His batting seems to have fallen off a cliff lately.
He started so hot, only way was down. Doesn't seem super comfy against the spinners. I'm no expert, but should he take a big step down the pitch to them? Every ball would basically be a full toss 😄

This is a throwback collapse
Stop it. Now
Too late.
Good performance from the Bangladeshi bowlers. Yesterday lunch they looked in massive trouble.
Now time for the bowling and fielding to stand up and get something out of the pitch

Jamieson learning what's its like when the wickets don't come easily.
He had a dream start. That is not real life as a test cricketer

One of our worst days of home test cricket in the past five years.
Wagner still on track to take all 10 wickets which is nice. Southee has gone almost 50 overs without a test wicket, Jamieson close to 40.
Yeah it would be wouldn’t it ?
Hopefully Wags had a shit sleep and is grumpy as fuck today.
I just read our first innings was the lowest at home against Bangladesh ever. If only the tail had done better, they should have got about 400 in all honesty

True. He’s just different degrees of grumpy. Nice start to the day

I was driving all yesterday and only got radio coverage every now and again. What went wrong for the BCs/right for the bangles ?
This test has the potential to get really fucken niggly for the BCs, Bangladesh are more than capable ( from what they’ve shown so far ) of reaching and then surpassing what we managed which means we’re chasing the game from tomorrow if they get bowled out/declare. Pretty unfamiliar territory at home.
Some of their young fellas are a lot better than many ( me included ) believed. I thought this test would be a cakewalk to be quite honest.
