If Cummins is a potential close contact, and tests postive, then the whole fucking team is a close contact.
i bet they still don't pick Khawaja

@nta Well if the circumstances are as reported (a diner at the table nearby received his COVID positive notification while at the dinner table, and proceeded to inform nearby patrons) that's not the case as presumably Cummins would have had no contact with teammates after that moment.

Seems seriously strange that he was out at dinner at all given what the commentators have been saying about the protocols.

Under the current South Australia directives, arrivals from interstate must have a PCR test on arrival - and are required to isolate until that test is taken, with a testing site located directly outside the airport - but they are not required to isolate until they receive the result. That rule was changed on December 10; just a week ago, arrivals were forced to isolate until they got their result. Cummins isolated as soon as he became aware of the situation and has since had a PCR test, which produced a negative result. Cricket Australia confirmed **Cummins did not breach any biosecurity protocols**, and it is hoped he will be available to return to lead Australia for the Boxing Day Test at the MCG.

This is very good for England, as now the two best Aussie bowlers are out.

Warner very fucking lucky.
For the Ashes can't they get cameras with more frames?
What actually happened then? I'm still on Cricinfo and they were vague.

The gear has to be common across all Test playing nations - apparently those super slowmo jobbies aren't cheap enough for everyone?
